Industry Application

Geometry for Live Events & Stage Production.

Document installed scenery and venue geometry around load-in, rehearsals and production handoff.

The Physical Context

A stage can change between design, fabrication, load-in and rehearsal. Projection planning needs a clear record of which installed surfaces the reference represents.

Where Capture Fits

Scope the relevant scenery, stage surfaces and fixed venue context. Schedule capture when the agreed surfaces are available, with safe access coordinated by the venue and production team.

What the Data Supports

Measured geometry can inform media templates, previsualization and system-planning discussions when a suitable production model is prepared. Agree units, orientation, model responsibility and sample import with the receiving team. Moving scenery requires separately defined tracking or show control.

Review Before the Show

Record the capture time and revisions to installed scenery. Assign an owner for changes after the handoff. The AV and show teams still need equipment decisions, on-site calibration and rehearsals before performance.
