VIDEO PROJECTION
MAPPINGSHAPE / LIGHT / EXPERIENCE

Your starting point

Plan Your Capture. Start with a Useful Brief.

Six things to prepare before discussing geometry and reality capture for your projection mapping project.

01 / THE BRIEF

Purpose and People

Tell us what the reference will support: media planning, scenic coordination, AV integration or another agreed task. Name the people receiving and reviewing the files.

02 / THE BRIEF

The Physical Canvas

Share the location and available plans or photographs. Identify the surfaces, recesses and adjoining areas that matter, along with any exclusions or known changes.

03 / THE BRIEF

Access and Milestones

Describe venue access, operating hours, permissions and the condition of the set at capture. Include the receiving team’s review and production dates.

04 / THE BRIEF

Reference and Detail

Agree units, origin and orientation with the receiving team. Describe the decisions the data must support so coverage and the required detail can be scoped.

05 / THE BRIEF

Files and Responsibilities

Name the receiving software and intended deliverables. Keep capture, point-cloud processing, derived models, UV preparation and content templates explicitly assigned.

06 / THE BRIEF

Review and Change Control

Plan a sample import, an acceptance review and a named owner for changes. Record gaps, exclusions and revisions before dependent production work begins.

Bring the Context.
We’ll Help Define the Scope.

A short description and a few reference images are a useful starting point. The capture plan and deliverables are agreed around your project and receiving team.
